    Taylor Ferns not only races sprint cars, Silver Crown cars and Indy NXT machines, but she is a full-time law student.

INDIANAPOLIS — Last year, before I officially began my Indy NXT endeavors, but at a time I was aware of the path I was set to follow, I needed an Indy-area gym in which to train.

Five-mile runs around my race shop parking lot and weight training with race parts weren’t going to cut it much longer.
