    A recent inductee to the Eastern Motorsports Press Hall of Fame, Ron Hedger has been writing columns for SPEED SPORT for more than 50 years.

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. — Looking at old photos as we prepared the visuals for our Racing Memories program at the Saratoga Automobile Museum in November triggered a lot of memories.

Most were good but some are a bit shaky. Racing has changed a lot over the decades and we got to thinking of Jeff Foxworthy’s famed “You Might Be a Redneck If …” comedy routine and how it might apply to racing.
