Every athlete dreams of being in the zone. It is the magical time when everything is in synch and one can seemingly do no wrong.

It is a feeling that may last for a single contest, or if one is lucky it extends over the course of several days. It comes as little surprise that racers can enter this state given how important the mental game is to the sport.
