NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — His memory still looms large, and his impact continues to be felt in racing media circles by those with a few laps under their belt.

Chris Economaki left us 12 years ago, and I sometimes wonder what he would make of our chaotic, rapidly evolving media scene.
