CMS ROVAL Continues To Evolve

    Beginning as an associate editor during the early 1980s, Keith Waltz’s byline has appeared in SPEED SPORT for more than 40 years.

Charlotte Motor Speedway literally altered the landscape of the NASCAR playoffs with the 2018 introduction of the ROVAL.

The unique track with the funny name combined the facility’s historic 1.5-mile quad-oval with a ribbon of infield asphalt that had more twists and turns, and ups and downs than a sub-par spy novel.
