Dave Blaney kept his World of Outlaws title hopes alive Oct. 10, 1993, as he posted a wire-to-wire victory in the 16th running of the Champion Spark Plug Nationals at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, N.Y.

Rain washed out the sprint car portion of the Super DIRT Week XXII Saturday, forcing a one-day delay in the 35-lap event.
